Hospitality management development apprenticeship
Our hospitality management development apprenticeship (HMDA) is a three year fast-track for those with the drive and commitment to be a future manager in our businesses.
As a hospitality management development apprentice, you will be given experience in both the kitchen and with our bar and waiting teams work, allowing you a better understanding of how they work together when you develop into a management role. Your daily tasks will include creating a warm and welcoming environment for all our guests, taking payments and presenting our food and drink perfectly, and in the kitchen you will learn how to create our signature dishes using the correct cooking techniques. As you develop, you will then take on additional responsibilities including recruiting new team members, managing inductions and becoming a specialist in cocktails, cask ales or wine.
In your first year, you will achieve a Level 2 Hospitality Services Licensed Retail Apprenticeship. You will then decide whether to continue your development towards a target role of Kitchen Manager or Assistant Manager.
As a hospitality management development apprentice, you will work both in the kitchen and with our bar and waiting teams. This understanding of how both teams work together will then help you when you develop into a management role.
