Bar & Waiting Apprenticeships

We want our guests to love visiting our pubs, bars and restaurants. That’s why we’re always looking for bar and waiting apprentices who can create special moments every day.

As a bar and waiting apprentice, you'll make sure that all of our guests are met with a warm welcome. You'll be write down their orders and take payments, keeping a safe and hygienic working environment, and match guests with the food, drink, or service they want, sometimes before they even know they want them. No two days are ever the same.

With support from our passionate teams and your Regional Trainer, you'll work towards a Level 2 Hospitality Team Member, Food and Beverage Apprenticeship. As an added bonus, you'll be part of a fun, social atmosphere with great team moments.

Once you click apply now, you will be redirected to a third party company, Lifetime Training, who hosts details of, and provides services in relation to, our apprenticeship scheme. Lifetime Training's terms and conditions

The entry requirements for bar and waiting apprenticeships

  • You must at least 16 and school-leaving age, and not be in full-time education. You also need the right to work in the UK, with no criminal convictions.
  • Our apprentices need to be hard working, with a positive attitude.  We don’t expect you to have any relevant experience - you just need a passion for people and desire to learn.

I started the apprenticeship to get a qualification, but also to work and earn at the same time. Whilst completing my bar and waiting apprenticeship, I’ve been given so much responsibility. I can’t wait to progress to the next qualification and become a Shift Supervisor!
